About
If you're searching for a hidden treasure in Nashville's culinary scene, look no further than Bite a Bit Thai & Sushi. Nestled at 1402 McGavock Pk, this gem stands out not just for its food but for the authentic experience it offers. With a warm ambiance and friendly staff, it feels like stepping into a local favorite rather than a tourist trap.
As I explored the expansive menu, I was immediately drawn to the unique offerings. The Khaoi Soi, an aromatic curry noodle dish, took me completely by surprise. Reviewing a dish like this, one can’t help but feel the excitement as the flavors dance on your palate - rich, creamy, and slightly spicy. Speaking to fellow diners, such as Aaron, it was clear that this dish leaves a lasting impression on those who venture to try it. His enthusiasm mirrored that of others who have made this restaurant their go-to for Thai delicacies.
Sushi lovers will also find a haven here, with fresh ingredients and creative presentations. Julie Davy raved about sitting at the sushi bar, and the choices are indeed fabulous. From yellowtail carpaccio to chirashi bowls, each dish celebrates the freshness and quality of sushi, making it hard to resist ordering an extra roll or two. With stellar service that has patrons like Mary Ann thanking the talented sushi chefs, the dining experience is elevated to new heights.
Another standout dish is the classic Pad Thai, praised by Nails By Nadia for its generous portions and rich, flavorful sauce. A touch on the sweeter side, it’s a satisfying choice for those craving the comfort of traditional Thai cuisine. Coupled with a ten out of ten miso soup, it showcases the attention to flavor that this restaurant embodies.
For those daring enough to explore spicier foods, the red coconut curry comes highly recommended. As Clayton Clark discovered, it’s intense, aromatic, and perfect for clearing sinuses on cold days. The conversation at the bar only adds to the convivial atmosphere that makes each visit memorable.
In summary, Bite a Bit Thai & Sushi isn’t just another place to eat in Nashville; it’s a journey through authentic Thai flavors coupled with expertly crafted sushi. With dishes that spark joy and service that feels like home, this is a spot worth discovering. So, grab a friend, head on over, and treat yourself to an unforgettable culinary experience that will keep you coming back for more!
“ Oh my! Best meal I had in Nashville. Seems like a very local spot that doesn't show up in any "best places to eat in Nashville" lists online. Thankfully, our hotel recommended this place to us. I've been eating Thai/Asian food for decades and this Thai was great. They have a very expansive menu so you that can get everything. I have never seen Khaoi Soi on the menu before so I branched out and tried this dish and it blew my mind. So yummy and tasty. I will definitely come back just for this dish. The spring rolls in the coconut soup was pretty good. The fried eggplant was excellent. Overall, great! Amazing tasty food and good service. ”
“ Can’t really say I’ve ever had something I didn’t like here! The entrees, the portion size, presentation, freshness of ingredients and variety/selection are just fabulous. Like to eat atop the sushi bar. Def one of my neighborhood gems. So lucky we have them. Parking can be an issue but what’s new in East? U can walk here as well as plentiful sidewalks. The calamari, yellowtail carpaccio & chirashi bowls are prolly my favorites! Birdy is also my favorite waitress. ”
“ Def recommend! Really great pad Thai, it had SO much sauce and was really flavorful, a little bit on the sweeter side though. Overall great portions and didn’t skimp out on protein, my meal had like 6-8 pieces of shrimp. Miso soup was 10/10 lots of flavor. Would come back! ”
“ Check it out!!! Great Place and delicious cuisine. Fresh Sushi and tasty Thai Food with impeccable service. Thanks July and Sushi Chef you guys are the best ”
“ Sat at the bar and had great conversation with the bar manager. Food was top-notch, highly recommend the red coconut curry. I had heat level 5 and it cleared my sinuses right up in time for this "snowstorm." ”
“ Best sushi I've ever had! I ordered the Spicy Tuna Crunchy Avocado Roll and Smoked Salmon Nigiri. Awesome atmosphere! Had to wait a bit for the food due to it being busy, but it was 100% worth the wait! Visiting from California and it came as a huge surprise how fresh everything tasted! I would choose this any day over my favorite sushi places in Cali! ”
“ Oh trusty Bite a Bit, we love sitting at your bar and having a few sushi rolls! They are always so fresh and reasonably priced. I feel like we always strike up a conversation with someone new there, too. Just great atmosphere all around. Sometimes your noodle and stir fry entrees can vary in quality, if anything I would just suggest a little bit more consistency- because when it’s good it’s GOOD. ”
“ Fantastic service, delicious food, great atmosphere. Sam was our Server and was simply awesome. We ordered a lot of different appetizers and a spicy Salmon roll and everything was absolutely delish!!! Wow! Can’t wait to go back. You will not regret a visit to this gem! ”
